Frequently asked questions
Route & Room is built for discovery, not search. Here is how membership, fares and booking work.

Membership
Is it free to join Route & Room?
Yes. A free account includes the destination briefs and a rotating weekly sample of live route dossiers. Insider membership (£39/year or £4.99/month) unlocks every route we curate.
Why pay when free deal sites exist?
Free deal sites can be useful, but they optimise for volume; we optimise for the handful of fares worth acting on. A free account gives you a sample; Insider gives you every route, exact dates and booking links. One strong fare can cover the annual fee.
How does Route & Room make money?
Membership subscriptions and affiliate commissions on some flight, hotel and activity links. Commercial links never determine what we include; read our editorial standards.
Can I cancel my membership?
Yes. Cancel any time from your account; access continues to the end of the current billing period.
Fares and coverage
Can't I just find these flights myself?
Of course. You could spend the week refreshing flight searches, or let us do the filtering. We monitor regional fares, reject the impractical ones and send only the trips we would book ourselves. You just take the annual leave.
What's the catch? Are these terrible routes with overnight layovers?
No. A fare is only a deal if the journey works. We reject impractical connections, awkward airports and arrival times that ruin the trip. If we wouldn't book it ourselves, it doesn't go out.
I don't fly from London. Is this pointless for me?
No. We cover regional airports across the UK, including Manchester, Birmingham, Edinburgh and Newcastle. The directory lists the current departure airports.
Booking
Will you book the flight for me?
No. We don't take passport details or book flights. When a fare is worth taking, we send a booking link; you complete the booking with the airline or booking provider.
Can I request specific dates for a wedding or holiday?
No. We track the dates that produce exceptional fares. For a fixed-date trip, a conventional flight search is the better tool.
